circa 1888, 33in. nitro reproved barrels, broad raised rib engraved 'F.T. BAKER. 88. FLEET ST.. & 21. COCKSPUR ST.. LONDON.', the under rib engraved 'FOR 3 INCH BRASS CARTRIDGE', 3in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, large treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, plain finish with intricate bordering, the action signed 'FREDc.. T. BAKER', the underside with the circular Baker registered trade mark, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including 7/8in. wooden extension, fore-end with grip catch release lever, weight 11lb. 14oz.
