A RARE .380 SQUEEZE-FIRE REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'FISCHER PATENT', FOR RENOVATION, serial no. 2, circa 1890, commercial Belgian black-powder proof, with 2 3/8in. octagonal barrel, fluted five-shot cylinder (arbor pin missing), solid frame with hinged loading gate, spur-less hammer, elongated square-heeled grip with chequered ebony plates, the front-strap fitted with an articulated spring-bar 'trigger' hinged at the heel and underside of frame originally firing the revolver in double-action mode (action at fault, probable internal losses), nickel-plated finish with small losses, 8in. overall
