A .32 RIMFIRE SEVEN-SHOT REVOLVER, MODEL 'MOORE'S PATENT', serial no. 1958,
circa 1862, with reblued octagonal 5in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'D. MOORE PATENT, SEPT 18 1860', reblued cylinder engraved with three lines around the circumference, florally engraved open brass frame with strong traces of original silver plating, engraved back-strap and trigger guard, smooth walnut grips and detachable under-barrel ejector rod, the whole expertly refinished (some bruising to grips), 10 1/2in. overall, weight approximately 1 5/8lbs.
