A GOOD .45ACP SEMI-AUTOMATIC SERVICE-PISTOL, MODEL '1911A1 GOVERNMENT', serial no. 808733
for 1943, with 5in. barrel, phosphated slide retaining its 'duo-tone' colouring and signed by the maker on the left hand side together with patent dates to '1913', phosphated frame marked 'UNITED STATES PROPERTY' and with arched and chequered mainspring housing, grip-safe, chequered brown plastic grips and annotated magazine, light wear to high spots and edges but retaining much of its original military finish
