circa 1830 and possibly remanufactured from flint, with browned octagonal 5 7/8in. barrels, the top-flats signed 'STAUDENMAYER COCKSPUR ST. LONDON', bead fore-sights, colour hardened breech-blocks with platinum lines and standing notch rear-sights, acanthus leaf engraved top-tang, flat border and acanthus leaf engraved bar-action locks signed 'STAUDENMAYER', shallow carved fences, dolphin headed hammers, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, captive iron stirrup ramrods, both pistols retaining strong traces of original finish
