Birmingham proofed in 2007, 23 3/4in. nitro reproved barrel with basketweave engraved sight-rib, unmarked open sights with two folding leaf sights with gold-inlaid sight lines, ramp-mounted bead foresight with folding protector, the receiver side-mounted with a Karl Kahles Helia 4x36 telescopic sight, serial no. 504023L, in quickly-detachable mounts, recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes, 14in. pull including 1in. rubber recoil pad, weight 10lb. 5oz. (unscoped) and 11lb. 6oz. (with scope), in its full length brass-cornered oak and leather case with 'Land Rover' embossed oil bottle, the lid with a gold-tooled trade label addressed 'Jurie Majoor. Provenance: The South African rifle maker Jurie Majoor is known for producing rifles on Vektor double-square bridge Mauser magnum actions.
