for 1908, with blued scarce 7 1/2in. barrel, raised sighting rib signed 'SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS U.S.A.', beaded blade fore-sight, drift adjustable blade rear-sight, break-open blued frame, fluted cylinder with automatic ejection, colour hardened trigger and hammer (action at fault) and chequered walnut round-butt grips, finish faded, complete with a period leather full flap holster, the outside of flap inscribed 'A.M.H. 5TH FUSILIERS'
