A .65 NORTH AFRICAN MIQUELET MUSKET, no visible serial number, circa 1840, with 49in. octagonal barrel with silver vee form front-sight and fixed vee rear-sight in silver, North African style miquelet lock, full wooden stock profusely decorated with inlaid mother of pearl, koftgari with some silver sheet the barrel secured by five decorated metal bands, the barrel rusted overall, the stock broken along forend, damage to and loss of decoration.
