circa 1890, 24in. nitro barrels (likely replacements in 2004), the sight rib engraved 'DANL. FRASER & CO. 4 LEITH ST TERRACE EDINBURGH' with open sights and two folding leaf sights with gold-inlaid sight lines and marked for 50, 100 and 150 yds, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, treble-grip action with ornately carved serpentine fences with a ropework border to the standing breech, removable striker discs, toplever re-engraved 'FRASER'S PATENT', bolted automatic safety with white metal inlaid 'BOLTED' detail, replacement bolt, original 'SAFE' detailed plaque replaced with an unengraved example and with recent red enamelled dot indicator, intercepting sears, best bold acanthus scroll engraving with ornate bordering and with central scrolling banners engraved 'DANL. FRASER & CO.', file cut triggers, 14 5/8in. highly-figured replacement pistolgrip stock with chequered side panels, horn pistolgrip-cap, matching fore-end wood, weight 7lb. 6oz.
