circa 1825, with round iron turn-off 1 3/8in. barrels (frozen), broad engraved band at the muzzles, round brass bodies with London proofs, border, scroll and shield engraved actions, central cocks with concealed automatic triggers and rainproof pedestal pans, sliding safes to the top-straps, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped butts with engraved white-metal caps, fair traces of finish remaining
