for 1899, with blued 5 1/2in. tapering barrel (bore lightly worn and frosted), blued receiver, brushed bright bolt with long blued extractor, elevating rear-sight marked '1' to '10', large ring hammer and old style safe, blued slab-sided frame with integral 10-shot magazine, 22 groove bag-shaped walnut grips with lanyard ring at heel, retaining a strong amount of original external finish on the frame, the barrel partially refinished and complete with its walnut holster stock with matching number, repaired crack on the opening button side and a further repaired crack on the long underside
