dated for 1939 but reworked in East Germany post war, with 4in. blued possibly replaced barrel (bore mint), dated breech, Mauser trade-mark to toggle, blued frame and receiver, brown chequered bakelite grips, alloy based matching number magazine and together with a further period spare magazine re-numbered '5172' and a loading or stripping tool
