for 1916, with blued 5 1/2in. tapering barrel (bore excellent), blued receiver, brushed bright bolt with short blued extractor, elevating rear-sight marked '50' to '500', small ring hammer and new style safe, blued slab-sided frame with integral 10-shot magazine, 30 groove bag-shaped walnut grips deeply embossed with a large number '9' filled with red paint, lanyard ring at heel, retaining virtually all its original external finish and complete with its walnut holster stock with matching number, also good condition
