Provenance: The vendor has kindly supplied us with the following history of the gun since it has been in his possession:

"I've owned the gun since 1988. At that I time I had a permanent gun on the Newnham Paddox Estate shoot run by Rollo Feilding, the Earl of Denbigh until his early death in the late 90's. Since then I have used the gun on various private and commercial shoots all over England and Scotland including Goodwood, and Weston Park, the Earl of Bradford's estate on several occasions. I have been lucky enough to shoot with many well known figures from the world of Motor Racing including Sir Jackie Stewart. Jack Oliver, Tom Walkinshaw, Paddy McNally and Ron Dennis. Charles March, the Duke of Richmond organises the Goodwood Festival of Speed and The Revival meeting. The attached photograph of me with the gun was taken by my friend Charles March, the Duke of Richmond at a shoot on the Goodwood Estate a few years ago. A print is still on display at one of the Goodwood Club restaurants on the Estate."
