A RARE 'CLASPED HANDS AND OVAL OF STARS' MARTIAL POWDER 'PEACE' FLASK BY BATTY,
dated 1847, brass and copper with a graduated steel spout, embossed on both sides, original steel suspension chain, cap rim stamped with initials 'CB', being the mark of inspector Charles Boarman, a couple of shallow dents, spring broken, small crack in brass base of spout, 9 3/4in.
