ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite and side-clips, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the underside with 'J. PURDEY & SONS. LONDON. ENGLAND.' in an oval, brushed finish, 15 1/4in. stock including 3/4in. leather covered recoil pad, weight 6lb., in its brass-cornered leather case
