S.W.' and gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp cyl. and 1/4 choke, wall thicknesses circa 20, toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving with beaded bordering, brushed and blued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock (left overhorn cracked), weight 6lb. 3oz., in a brass-cornered canvas and leather case
