circa 1880 and of Lefaucheux style, with round 3 3/4in. barrel, white metal inlet signature (losses, possibly 'FA DE TD A TARLOA EIBAR'), octagonal breech with unauthorised period Spanish proofs, plunge ejector, fluted cylinder with white metal wire scrolls over each chamber, en-suite decorated frame, swept and flared smooth walnut grip with inlet white metal wire and carving at head, double action mechanism with folding exposed trigger, cleaned with some losses to inlays and mild shallow pitting
