with 2 5/8in. octagonal barrel and signed with patent dates to 1871, solid frame, the top-strap marked 'SWAMP ANGEL', plain five shot cylinder with forward locking notches, chequered hard rubber birdshead grips and spur trigger, the whole retaining virtually all its original nickel-plated finish
