with blued fully fluted 2 1/2in. slide-forwards barrel group retained via a screw in the underside of fore-end, open iron frame with flat sides to the radiused standing breech, barrel release catch to left hand side of frame, the right hand side marked around the hammer screw 'SHARPS & CO PHILADA PA.', single action mechanism with indexing hammer nose, spur trigger and smooth walnut birdshead grips, strong traces of original finish
