for 2005, 30in. nitro chopperlump barrels with 6mm solid raised matt top-rib and side ribs, the over barrel engraved 'DAVID McKAY BROWN 32 HAMILTON ROAD BOTHWELL SCOTLAND' and engraved detailing at the breech end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, action incorporating British Design Registration no. 2023402 of 23rd July 1992, with hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, the action and furniture profusely engraved with bold scrolling foliate designs on a finely matted background, the fore-end engraved en suite, the underside of the action with an elaborately bordered vignette of a lone woodcock in flight, bright finish overall, 14 3/4in. highly-figured stock, weight 6lb. 11oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case, fitted for and including its full complement of accessories and with a canvas and leather outer cover.
