A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL SIGNED FARMER, no visible serial number, a probable late 19th Century parts gun with spurious markings, 12 in. barrel, lock marked 'FARMER / 1744' plus a crown and lock-viewer's mark, swan-neck hammer, blank brass wrist escutcheon, brass eared butt-cap, trigger-guard lock back plate and rammer pipes, brass tipped wooden rammer, stock stamped '1803' with a spurious Broad Arrow and 'BO' applied to the fore-end, worn, all steelwork rusted and pitted, 18 1/2 in. overall
