circa 1990, 30in. black powder reproved (in 2023) octagonal barrel, the top flat engraved 'OLD RELIABLE' and 'SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO.' and 'CALIBRE 50 3 1/4', dove-tailed bead fore-sight, rear sight removed and dove-tail inserted, top tang fitted with a folding adjustable peep sight, plain colour-hardened falling block action, signed on the left 'SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. BIG TIMBER. MONTANA.', figured chequered walnut pistolgrip butt-stock with raised cheek-piece, chequered plastic heel plate marked 'SHARPS. OLD RELIABLE.', chequered lower tang, colour-hardened under-lever forming the triggerguard, double-set triggers, chequered fore-end with schnabel tip, 14in. pull, weight 9lb. 14oz.
