* A RARE EARLY GLASS SADDLE-FLASK AND A COPPER AND BRASS POWDER FLASK BY BARLOW, circa 1820, clear glass with cork stopper, shell leather case with loops for strapping, the top section would slide up the strap to allow access to the flask, stitching tight, 7 1/2 in. length, together with a circa 1860, of flattened bag shape, embossed scene of game birds on both sides, graduated spout, fireproof cap marked 'JAMES BARLOW & Co / BIRMINGHAM / IMPROVED PATENT', two suspension loops, soldered repair attaching cap to body, some shallow denting, 8 1/4 in.
