circa 1880, with 20in. barrel rifled with five grooves, the top stamped 'JOSEPH BOURNE & SONS / BIRMINGHAM', fitted with block and blade front-sight and ladder rear-sight, the Mk II** pattern breech block stamped with acknowledgement to Sniders patent, the lock plain and unmarked, full walnut stock with two barrel bands, iron buttplate and trigger-guard, brass nose-cap, complete with sling swivels and correct pattern rod
