A SCARCE .177 'THE BRITON' NICKEL-PLATED PUSH-BARREL AIR-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
by Frank Clark, Birmingham, circa 1925, with push-in 5in. smooth-bore barrel (complete, but does not hold), plain stepped receiver, slanted grip with hard-rubber chequered grips impressed with 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and a gothic letter 'B' on the right-hand side and 'THE BRITON' with the same letter on the left, no trigger-guard, retaining virtually all its original nickel-plate
