A PAIR OF 19th CENTURY FRENCH BAYONETS, being 1) M1874 for the Gras rifle dated 1878, with 20 in. single-edged steel blade with back engraved for St Etienne arsenal, clear marks on ricasso and quillion, wooden grips and brass pommel, together with its steel scabbard and an associated frog, scabbard with denting near the throat, frog worn, 27 in. overall; 2) M1842 Yataghan sword bayonet dated 1855, 22 1/2 in. single-edged steel blade, steel cross-guard and brass hilt, worn, pitted blade and cross-guard, leaf-spring and stud missing, no scabbard, 27 in. overall
