circa 1935, with 27 1/2in. blade shallow fullered along the back edge, Koishikawa Arsenal control stamp suffixing serial number, brass tsuba, the fuchi with further arsenal marks, cast alloy hilt in imitation of binding (traces of brown paint) and complete with its matching number scabbard with later black painted finish
