A GOOD AND RARE JAPANESE NAVAL KAI-GUNTO TYPE 30 KATANA WITH SIGNED AND INKED ARSENAL BLADE,
made between 1930-45, with 27in. blade in good polish, silvered copper habaki, the hilt with signature to one side only and inked characters to both, one side stamped with an anchor within a circle device and marked with a small '2' assembly number, shakudo tsuba with sun-ray design, brown cotton bound black 'same' hilt, polished black shagreen scabbard with mounts for two suspension rings (one ring absent)
