circa 1900, with blued octagonal 26in. relined barrel, dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two additional folding leaves, the top-flat roll engraved for its full length, the left top-flat signed 'HENRY ATKIN', the right '2 JERMYN ST. HAYMARKET LONDON', sprung automatic ejector, border engraved colour hardened action with scroll engraved detail, blued grip-straps, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock with domed colour hardened grip-cap, ribbed end to heel and chequered walnut snap-on splinter fore-end, much apparent original colour and finish remaining
