probably converted from flintlock, with 9in. re-browned slightly swamped octagonal barrels, the top-flats inlet in silver with 'V. CHR. SCHILLING IN SUHL', white metal dove-tailed fore-sights, colour hardened breech-blocks marked for a pair, scroll engraved top-tangs with standing notch rear-sights with additional leaf, colour hardened locks with scroll engraving and swinging hammer-stop safes, engraved en-suite dolphin headed hammers, walnut full-stocks with chequered complex shaped panels to the grips and with white metal capped swollen pommels, white metal spurred guards with single set triggers, white metal engraved side-nail escutcheons, moulded white metal ramrod pipes, schnabel horn tips to the fore-ends and horn tipped ramrods, in their probably original partially relined walnut storage case with added mostly period accessories
