circa 1815, with rebrowned octagonal 6in. barrels, small applied blade fore-sights, engraved top-tangs, border engraved flat locks signed 'CUTLER' below the rainproof pans, swan-necked cocks with safes, rollers to the frizzen springs, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butts, oval escutcheons to wrists and iron furniture with brass mounted mahogany ramrods, in a period case adapted from an instrument case, lined in blue velvet with a number of antique accessories
