circa 1907, with two stage 20 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed front and adjustable rear-sights, the top-flat signed 'COX'S PATENT' and 'C.G. BONEHILL SOLE MANUFACTURER', the side of breech stamped 'THE BRITANNIA' surrounding a seated figure of Britannia bisecting the legend 'REGD TRADE MARK', stirrup barrel locking latch, slanted air-chamber with applied walnut comb, cocking link housing the trigger-unit stamped 'RD394207', traces only of finish with some patchy shallow pitting
