A RARE 8mm 'KURBELSPANNER' CRANK-WOUND GALLERY AIR-RIFLE, no visible serial number,
German circa 1895, with blued octagonal 21 1/2in. brass-lined smoothbore barrel dropping slightly to load via a side-catch, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain air-chamber (possibly originally nickel-plated), chequered walnut butt-stock concealing the trigger mechanism, adjustable trigger, the right side of action body with circular aperture to accept a cocking handle (a good reproduction included), brass replacement heel-plate and walnut splinter fore-end (old repairs)
