circa 1861, with 33in. browned twist barrel, rifled with three grooves, fitted with patent hook breech, bayonet lug at muzzle, barleycorn front-sight and ladder rear-sight, borderline engraved lock, stamped with the Crown V.R. cypher on the tail and '1861 / TOWER' to the centre, regulation iron mounted full walnut stock with chequered wrist and fore-end, complete with sling swivels and loading rod
