circa 1928, 28 1/8in. nitro barrels, the ribs engraved 'CHARLES BOSWELL. 15. MILL ST. HANOVER SQUARE. LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, cocking-indicators, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/4in. highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stocks including 5/8in. horn buttplates, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a brass-cornered leather case with internal protector flap, together with a copy of a 1930's Boswell advert declaring this model to be their 'Highest Grade Latest Model'
