circa 1810 with later conversion to percussion (probably by the maker), octagonal 30 1/4in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'E. BAKER, LONDON', small applied blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, moulded snail and side bolster, platinum vented plug, scroll engraved top-tang, flat, slightly curved lock with dipped tail and signed 'E. BAKER' on the bar, walnut half-stock with moulded and chequered half pistol-grip, iron furniture, single set trigger and iron ramrod, the whole worn with loss to engraved detail
