BURROW 16-BORE CONVERTED FROM MUZZLE LOADER SINGLE-BARRELLED SIDELEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 5405, circa 1875, 27 3/4in. black powder reproved damascus barrel (in 2016), with faceted breech end, 2 3/4in. chamber, bored approx. imp. cyl., rebounding bar-action sidelock, border and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding the makers name in a scrolling banner, brushed bright and reblued finish, 13 1/4in. stock (cracked and repaired) including steel buttplate, cheekpiece, fore-end with cross-pin release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 8oz.
