COLT NEW YORK U.S.A.', stepped and fluted five-shot cylinder, open iron frame, brass grip-straps and trigger guard (traces of silver plating) and smooth walnut grip, the serial number markings with an 'L' prefix indicating London retail, wedge a probable replacement and together with a period English market oak case relined and compartmented for this pistol, with reproduction flask, cleaning rod, mould and nipple key, together with period cap tins and oil bottle, the inside of case lid with reproduction Colt instruction label
