dated 1944, as used in a Type 98 torpedo, in its original wooden transportation case with Japanese stencilling in black on the lid and original paper labelling inside the lid, comes with a folder of research, including a translation of the characters on the lid which gives an inspection date of 21st June 1944 and ownership by Kure Naval Arsenal, one of four principal naval shipyards owned and operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy
