JAMES'S, LONDON' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 (No.1) and true cyl. and imp. cyl. (No.2), No.2 wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, sidelever actions with top straps gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, bifurcated articulated front triggers, fine acanthus scroll engraving, 15 3/4in. figured replacement semi-pistolgrip stocks (setting cracks to head No.1 gun) and cast towards central vision, weight 6lb. 12oz. (No.1) and 6lb. 8oz. (No.2), in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
