circa 1925, 26 3/4in. nitro reproved (in 1977) barrels, rifle barrel tubed to .22LR from 9x72mm, raised matt rib with folding open sight, bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Carl Zeiss Zielsechs telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, treble-grip action with cocking-indicators, shot/ball selector switch, manual side-safety, set front trigger, carved with foliate motifs surrounding game scenes of fox with hare and hunting hounds, bright and blued finish, 14 5/8in. figured pistolgrip stock carved with floral designs at the hand, the fore-end decorated en suite, cheekpiece, sling swivels, the heel with sprung steel ammunition trap engraved with scrolls and a stag, fluted horn pistolgrip-cap, 3/4in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 15oz., in a lightweight leather case
