A PAIR OF GERMAN KNIVES, being 1) a WWII Luftwaffe Forestry knife with 8 in. single-edged steel blade, the ricasso marked 'WAFFEN-LOESCGHE / BERLIN' with 'Ch. A.W.' [for Chromolit-Besteckfabrik, Arthur Wingen] and numbered '122' steel hilt with with faux antler grips, worn with some pitting to the blade, no scabbard, 12 1/2 in. overall; 2) a WWI trench fighting knife with 6 in. double-edged steel blade marked 'E.D. WUSTHOF / SOLINGEN' with trident trade-mark, nickel-steel cross guard and hilt fittings, with black faux antler grip, together with an associated steel scabbard with leather strap, losses and rusting to the nickelling and some losses to the hilt where joins the pommel, 11 in. overall
