for 1995, 23 3/4in. Boehler steel nitro barrel gold-inlaid 'M. LINGARD, GUNMAKER, FRIOCKHEIM, SCOTLAND.', un-engraved ramp-mounted open sights with folding leaf sight, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 Nova telescopic sight, serial no. L644837301, in quickly-detachable mounts, the half rings with acanthus scroll detailing, tang safety, the receiver with some fine acanthus scrollwork, hinged floorplate edged with fine scrolls and with central depiction of a roe buck, finely engraved in high relief and inlaid in gold, signed 'AMB', well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, pistolgrip-cap, horn finial, sling swivels, 14 1/8in. pull including 7/8in. recoil pad, weight 7lb. 13oz. (unscoped) and 9lb. 1oz. (with scope), in its full length brass-cornered canvas case, together with a fleece-lined canvas and leather slip embossed with the calibre designation and initialled 'P.J.D.B'
