A PAIR OF 19th CENTURY POWDER FLASKS, being 1) circa 1860s, copper and brass bag-shape, with graduated spout, cap marked 'JAMES DIXON / & SONS / SHEFFIELD'. working spring, some denting, 7 in. length; 2) early 19th Century continental (probably French) ovoid shagreen-covered body with white metal furniture, with a monogrammed shield to one side and a star over, chained cap, staining to the shagreen, some shallow denting to the body band and missing one strap loop, body band loose, 6 1/4 in. max. length
