circa 1875, with twist 29 3/4in. barrels (shallow pitting externally), borderline and checkerboard engraved top-tang and action with en-suite locks and hammers, the locks signed around the hammer mounts 'L. AMBERT A M.' on the left and 'A MARSEILLES' on the right, birdseye maple chequered butt-stock (cracked through at wrist and lower tang), iron furniture including en-suite engraved flat-fronted trigger guard bow and long forward facing under-lever, permanently attached en-suite engraved fore-end
