NEW HAVEN CONN USA', dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, early type flat sided action with rounded top to the bolt, central hammer, the top-tang marked 'WINCHESTER MODEL 1895', walnut butt-stock with crescent heel-plate, early type finger-lever, walnut splinter fore-end with ebony tip, the whole retaining a strong amount of original faded finish
