A CASED 20-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING-GUN, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1810, with octagonal to round 30 1/2in. barrels, platinum line at breech, early drum and nipple style conversion from flint, rounded locks of flint form with pointed tails and walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, worn with losses and repairs and in a period mahogany guncase with compartments stripped out but retaining some coarse baize lining
