circa 1855, with 26 1/2in. barrel struck at the breech with Ordnance proofs (faint), block front-sight and bayonet lug, borderline engraved Pattern 1853 style lock bearing the Crown V.R. cypher on the tail and '1855 / TOWER' to the centre, regulation brass mounted full walnut stock with Lovell's spring bayonet catch at nose-cap, the right side of the butt with the B.O. arrow 1st Class stamp and the number 33, sling swivels, replacement rod, barrel refinished, crack to trigger-guard tang
