circa 1850, with 30in. barrels signed on the top-rib 'WILLIAMS & POWELL, LIVERPOOL', bead fore-sight, engraved band and platinum plugs to breech, fully engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks also engraved with hunting dogs and signed 'WILLIAMS & POWELL', chequered walnut half-stock with iron furniture and brass mounted ebony ramrod, together with its original mahogany guncase, lined and compartmented in green baize, trade label inside lid (stained and faded) and complete with period shot and powder flasks, an oil bottle, cap pouch and sundry accessories
